Okanagan Vineyard

As with an orchard setting, there seems to be something so very comforting and calming in the symmetric rows of a vineyard. The outward expression of these bucolic settings has been in the Okanagan Valley on a commercial scale since the late 1920s and, along with the orchard lands, give the region perhaps its most iconic look. I have a personal affinity for the vineyards too, as my first job when we moved to Kelowna in the 1960s was to pick grapes for the Zaron family in Glenmore.
